The EcoHouse Studio: Comfort, Sustainability, and Thoughtful Design

The EcoHouse Studio forms an integral part of the EcoHouse, reflecting a commitment to both sustainability and comfort. The studio underwent a comprehensive renovation, with a strong focus on sustainable practices and energy efficiency throughout the process. Every detail in the layout was thoughtfully considered, ensuring that the space is both functional and welcoming.

A modern, well-appointed kitchen was incorporated, crafted to evoke a genuine sense of home and belonging. The seating area features a sofa which conveniently transforms into a queen-size bed, offering flexibility and comfort for guests. Large windows built to Passivhaus standards allow ample natural light to flood the space, creating an airy and uplifting atmosphere.

The studio is equipped with a high-quality air conditioning unit, permitting guests to control the temperature easily to suit their preferences, whether heating or cooling. A table positioned by the window offers a pleasant spot for indoor dining, making the most of the studio’s light-filled ambience. Altogether, the EcoHouse Studio is designed to be a cosy, inviting, and sustainable retreat. The Shower room is equipped with a toilet, a wash basin and a washing machine (as well as a shower!) to add convenience to the guests’ stay.

Stepping outside, the spacious 30 m2 terrace has a grill area, specially designed and built with a basin; there is an outdoor shower, just in case the sun gets too hot. The terrace has been carefully surrounded by beautiful shrubs, vines and kiwis creeping across the top wire, to protect from the fierce sun. Deckchairs can be laid out for sunbathing; the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, relaxing; it is holiday time. There is a spacious outdoor dining table, to enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds.
